Beautiful Eyes
Makeup is used to enhance the qualities of the eyes. However, it should be applied knowledgeably and carefully. Your eyes are yours and need an individual style of makeup. Learn how to look after your eyes and make them more beautiful.
Eye lashes They exist primarily to protect the eyes, but throughout the ages they have been used to enhance the eyes. Since they form a natural fringe all around the eye, they make it appear bigger and draw attention to the eye. Fair haired people miss out here, so many have their eyelashes dyed for a small fee, in a beauty salon. The effect lasts for about six weeks. Mascara is excellent when used for a short period as it not only darkens the lashes, but thickens them, too. Apply one coat of mascara, first looking down and brushing top lashes from the roots, downwards, then looking up and brushing the lashes upwards. Then brush colour on to the lower lashes. Wait a minute for it to dry, then apply a second coat of mascara. Finally brush lashes through with a clean, dry brush, which should separate all the lashes. There are several types of mascara to choose from.
Wand mascaras are very convenient to use and generally come in a variety of colours apart from the normal black and brown. They are usually oil based and
may smudge after the first hour. Block mascaras are water based and good for getting a strong, fast drying layer of colour. Lash-lengthening mascara is effective when applied carefully. Recharge the brush several times to pick up the tiny fibres. When removing mascara, it's best to prevent the colour from going on to the delicate area below the bottom lashes. Do this by holding a tissue under the bottom lashes and using a cotton wool bud that has been dipped in eye makeup remover, close your eye and roll the cotton bud over the lashes, taking the mascara down the tissue. Continue this action until all the mascara has gone. To prevent lashes from drying out, smear a little vaseline on to the roots, at night.
If, your eyelashes are not naturally curly, try using eyelash curlers. They are particularly effective after you have ffiascaiaed your lashes but only squeeze lashes very gently and be very careful to keep your hand steady.
