Body Analysis

By analyzing your body, you can see which are your attractive and unattractive features. Body analysis applies to both women and men. Start with a full length mirror and a few basic questions. A woman might ask the following:

Am I short (under 5'3"), average (5'4" to 5'6"), or tall (5'7" and above)?

Am I thin, average, or overweight? Being too thin is almost as unattractive as being too heavy. Will losing weight create a more balanced proportion (that is, the top half as wide as or slightly wider than the bottom half)?

What about my posture? Is it as good as it should be? Are my shoulders erect without being stiff? Is my tummy flat or protruding? Is my bottom flat, large, or sway back?

Are my shoulders square, sloping, too narrow, or too wide?

Is my bust line too small, average, or too heavy for the rest of my body?

Do I have a waistline? Does my waistline divide me into equal proportions or am I short or long waisted?

Are my legs long, average, or short? Do my legs have definition? Are my ankles slim or thick?

Are my arms average, top heavy, or too thin?

Finally, am I tall enough for my present width? Are my hips wider than my shoulders?

Analyze your figure front and back. If you are not sure, ask a friend to assist, but start at the top and work all the way down.

Be realistic! Wishing and hoping is not the answer. Work with what you have got and if it is less than perfect, learn to work around it.

Being familiar and comfortable with your own body shape is the key to presenting a fashionable image.
