The above chart gives the figure of calories burnt for a person of average weight 60 kg. Persons of different weights will burn Calories proportionate to their weight. For example, a person of 80 kg. weight will bum calories equal to 80 / 60 x calorie expenditure per minute.
It is important to note from the above table that even when we are laying still or sleeping, we are still consuming 60 calories per hour. This is because internal processes of our body are still going on like breathing, blood circulation and pumping of heart, digestion, repair and replacement of cells/tissues etc.
