Dry Hair Treatment - Home Remedy for Dry Hair
They look very dry and dirty and don't have any shine in them. Their end is dry and have two mouths (split) which stop development and causes regular itching,
They have to be cleaned with a good shampoo for dry hair, at least once a week. Then apply conditioner and wash thoroughly after a few minutes. They might stick and entwine if not washed thoroughly.
Give the following treatment to your hair after two weeks.
Massage your skull with lukewarm olive oil. Put on a plastic cap and cover it with a towel, soaked in hot water. Leave it for half an hour. Now wash your hair and shampoo them.
The hair will get more dry with a strong hair spray, so don't use them.
The hair becomes dry by overactivity of oil glands and also due to overuse of hair drier, hair spray, hard sunshine, salt and salted water.
Take warm coconut oil and spread it on the skull with tips of fingers. Start massaging slowly and then a bit faster. Keep it massaging until it all gets absorbed in the roots of the hair.
Leave the head for two hours after hair massage and then wash it with a cupful of shikakai, add in it six cups of water, Leave it to become cool when they soften. Now mash the Shikakai and filter it and wash hair with this. Dryness of the hair will vanish.
There is a less expensive homely treatment for dry hair. Take a big piece of fuller's earth and put it in some water in a mug. Make a paste by adding some coconut oil. Apply the paste on the head, leave it for about two hours and wash them.
Use of fuller's earth gives freshness to the mind, coolness to the eyes and hair become very clean.
Beat an egg, add a teaspoon of lemon juice and a tea spoon of coconut oil in it. Apply the paste on the roots of the hair and keep massaging for half an hour. Now apply Shikakai powder on the head and wash with fresh water aided with lemon juice or vinegar. Dryness of the hair ends with this treatment.
Don't expose such dry hair too frequently. Cover your head with an umbrella or with the border of the saree if you have to walk in sun.
