Eye Exam for Child
Don't wait for blurred vision, watery eyes or headaches before getting your eyes tested. Receive checkups at regular intervals to ensure your sight has not deteriorated in any way. Children, in particular, need special attention and a careful watch kept for squinting or excessive watering. A child holding school work too close to the eyes can reveal an eye deficiency at its early stages. When the child is about eight years old, the eyes achieve adult size, but have not then developed their full stability and strength. Therefore, a child's eyes should not be exposed to the same strain as those of an adult.
