As a thumb rule, you can calculate the approximate ideal weight of small and large framed persons (men) as follows:

For small frames - subtract 6% from medium frame weights.

For large frames - add 7% in medium frame weights.

Men:

Small frame - wrist circumference below 16.5 cm (6 1/2 " )

Medium frame - wrist circumference between 16.6 17.7 cm (6 1/2" - 7")

Large frame - wrist circumference above 17.8 cm (above 7")

Women:

Small frame wrist circumference below 13.9 cm (5 - 1/2")

Medium frame - wrist circumference below 14 - 16.4 cm (5 1/2" - 6 - 1/2")
